I teach skills & positive psychological practices to help clients move beyond negative states of mind to actively cultivate positive states of mind -- so they can resolve problems, develop self confidence, and live meaningful and vitally engaged lives. Skills taught: psychological flexibility, mindfulness, relaxation, emotional regulation, exposure & response prevention, exposure as lifestyle, self-reflection, values-guided action steps, self-compassion, conflict resolution, relationship effectiveness, effective communication, problem-solving, empathy & parenting.
