Dr. Chazin is a licensed psychologist specializing in the cognitive-behavioral treatment of anxiety, obsessive-compulsive, and depressive disorders in adults and adolescents. He draws on effective, evidence-based treatments to help clients with a variety of problems, with a specialty in OCD, PTSD, panic, social anxiety, health anxiety, generalized anxiety/worry, specific anxieties (like driving and flying), compulsive hair pulling, and depression. Dr. Chazin is an expert in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approaches, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Prolonged Exposure (PE), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness. Dr. Chazin has authored multiple publications and given presentations at national and international conferences, and is an active member of the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT) and the Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA). He received his bachelor’s degree from Yale University and his master's and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology from Rutgers University.
